We had our first visit at curries and more last week. We have been to almost all nearby Indian restaurants in last several years. Curries and more may not compared to some really nice restaurants like Shikara and India House for their interior decor but the food is definitely delicious. We loved all dishes such as paneer tikka, chili paneer and paneer butter masala. If you are looking for delicious food at reasonable price then this is a good place. I recommend this restaurant to all. Don't try to compare the decor with high end restaurants just go for food.

We went there on Dosa night. Inspite of being busy, the owner took care of our baby daughter so that we can enjoy dosa night. We were deeply touched by the gesture. We enjoyed the real authentic taste of south indian food, like homemade..looking forward to go there again and again..thanks

This was my first visit to Taste of Chennai. I saw the menu online thinking it was a veg restaurant but shockingly the menu has changed and it had been two days with the new menu with Non vegetarian and a new Chef. First kudos goes to the chef who is from Chennai and understands what is south indian food. Every food tat we tried had unique flavours from different regions of Tamilnadu. Must try items are - Chicken 65: very fresh and juicy. The taste was very good and cooked to perfection. - Chicken pepper soup: people who have experienced the taste of soup in Anjappar and want to get the same feel. Please try this soup. - dindukkal mutton biryani: This was a traditional biryani not like the other biryani where you have colored rice and meat from another gravy. This is a the best biryani I have tasted in Chicago. You get the real feel at home and the mutton was really tender. Next items to try would be chicken pepper fry, mutton sukka and eral thokku.

The menu says that the food is authentic north indian food and truly it serves the purpose. Had a great dinner , had golguppas after a long time and I loved the Tandoori Chicken Thali. The portions were great too. Highly recommend it to everyone.

My family and I came here as a last minute dinner decision. I typically only go to buffets because I never know what to order. The entire staff at Curries N More were so kind and helpful. They put together two different variety plates and both were AMAZING. I have been craving them ever since. They also said when I call to order they will walk me through ordering. Very very kind to this clueless suburban mom.
